The Crown Prosecution Service have declared their decision not to prosecute Gary McKinnon in the UK.
We understand there will be an announcement from the Crown Prosecution Service this afternoon at 3pm regarding the possible UK prosecution of Gary McKinnon.
We are delighted to confirm that Mr Tajik, the former Iranian Ambassador to Jordan, was discharged by Westminster Magistrates Court this afternoon in respect of his proposed extradition to the United States of America.

We understand that the Home Secretary will be making an announcement in the House of Commons tomorrow regarding the application by the United States for the extradition of Gary McKinnon.

We continue to represent Gary McKinnon. A hearing has been listed tomorrow (5th July) in court 3 at 10.30 at the High Court for directions.
Overnight we learned that Mr Cleary is also now subject to an indictment in California with exactly the same charges. We understand that the US Prosecutor has stated that should Mr Cleary be dealt with by the UK courts in respect of these charges then the US will not seek Mr Cleary’s extradition.
